Blackland Lakes has two good coarse fishing lakes, Stan's lake (.5 acre) and Heron Lake (1 acre) containing carp (30 lbs. Plus), tench, roach, rudd, perch, bream and gudgeon.

There are plenty of double figure carp in both lakes, with the best now above the magical 30 lbs mark, crucians, tench to almost 6lb, bream and perch up to 3lb plus, roach almost 3lb, golden tench almost 5lb. So why not come and see what you can catch.
